shii dawg. i feel guilty. i never ever blog anymore. k lah i blog now about friday gig. gig friday was overall quite successful. since i have like sort of a time limit now, i will be brief. k the first set i performed was with sahil. first song we played. the ground folds acoustic by senses fail. this song was over all flawless. oh by the way, i was playing with a guitar without a G string. haha. k anyways, first song was flawless. then second song was reminding you of me + season 1 = season 4. it was alright lah. one major thing that wasnt good in this song. the guy controlling the mixer at the back turned the gain down so i thought i could still sing super far away from the mic and the sound would still be picked up. but the guy turned the gain down and i didnt know. so i kept singing super far away from the mic. and fuck, a few people said you could barely hear the singing in that song. ok next song. stare at the sun. for this song, since i didnt have a G string, the chord i played felt weird and in the end i played the wrong shit so the guitars for this song was not so hot. hahaha. not so hot. k then next song was sahils song called you probably dont know this is for you. we played it flawlessly i think. not much mistakes. haha. k after a few peoples sets, my turn. this time i used someone elses guitar that actualyl had a G string. first song i played was my new song called And She. k at first when i started i knwe something was weird. but i didnt wanna keep the audience waiting to check what was wrong. so i just played. the first note i sang felt DAMN high. then throughout the song, i could barely reach the high notes. fuktup. for this song, i put a capo on 5th fret what. k then anwyays, next song was you and me. since i thought like maybe im sick tahts why its affecting my vocal range, i decided to play you and me on capo 2nd. usually i play it with capo 3rd and i manage fine. k so anwyays, you and me seemed quite high also. i dont understand. so k last song i was playing was initiating a conversation. its played in standard D tuning. so i used my friends built in tuner and tuned down. only to realize that THE WHOLE TIME FOR THE 2 SONGS I WAS PLAYING THEM 1 1/2 STEPS HIGHER. CHEEEE BYEEEE thats ALOT higher than what its supposed to be. so basically for and she, technically i had a capo on 8th fret and for you and me, i technically had a capo on 5th fret. no wonder everything seemed so high and hard to reach lah. cheee bye. hahah. ok anyways, the last song i played was quite good. for some reason i feel that the song is too liek fast paced and should be done with 2 people. it just doesnt seem right with just one. i dont think i will play that song for future gigs. hahah. ok anyways, thats my gig experience. oh i tore a copy of the like flyer to advertise the gig from a wall. i'll scan it some day then post it up here. but for now, i is be off. peace.

hello my rarely-updated blog. anyways, right now im at home. i skipped school today. i already wanted to skip school since like monday. i am really sick ah. but monday and yesterday i couldnt skip school cos i had to go to my old school after school for practice. hahah. but today we werenyt gonna practiec so i decided to fuck school and just stay home. anyways, now im damn bored. so i have nothing much to do. hmm. what should i talk about? im quite tired ah. hmm. i think since i have nothing to do, i'll find a quiz to do. wait i'll do it tonight. for now, heck i'll just continue watching tv. so peace.

hello blog. one whole week again without blogging. ah fuck lah. ok anyways, i dont have much time to blog now either. so i wont blog much. anyways, friday i slept over at my friends house. damn bloody fun. on friday, i broke 2 guitar strings. fuck lah. one was my guitar. the other one was my friends guitar. so it was not good. hahaha. ok then saturday we watched a movie. BUTTERFLY EFFECT 2! WOOOH. i've been waiting for that movie for quite awhile now. its nice lah. its like sort of the same story. except this guy uses pictures to go back to the past. one thing i dont like about this story is the end was too quick lah. they should have made it like longer. heck. anwyays, i still think the first one was better. my friends wanted a refund cos they thoguht the movie was damn bad. dont know how to appreciate. ok anwyays, today when i woke up, i was sick as hell. i wasnt going to go to school but my mother said that if i didnt go to school, i couldnt go to my old school to practice later in the afternoon. so i decided to just fuck it and go to school. and anyways, fast forward, today i broke 2 strings in the same day AGAIN. FUCKING annoying. at frist i was using my own guitar. then my string snapped. then i borrowed my friends guitar as i wanted to let them hear my new song. and HIS STRING SNAPPED. fuck lah. ok anwyays, quick updates before i bounce. gig this friday. i will be playing Initiating a Conversation, my new song called And She, and a cover. You and Me by Lifehouse for old times sake. thats my solo set. for my set wtih sahil, we're playing The Ground Folds by senses fail, Stare At The Sun by thrice, a song he wrote called You probably dont know this is for you. and last one is gonna be one i half wrote. Season 4. its half of reminding you of me. and the other half i wrote. so its gown be coo. ok anyways, until the next time i blog, peace.

ok im back from school. or i got back quite long ago already. hahahaha. ok anyways, i will blog about friday and saturday. i just realised that before this morning, i didnt blog in a full week. FUCK. theres nothing much to blog about on the weekdays also anwyays, school is damn boring. hmm. oh and i also have a reason for not blogging. i have to go to my old school constantly every week to practice as im gigging frequently now. i never thought it would be this hard. handling school and music at the same time. aight aight k on to friday.

FRIDAY
friday was my big day. gig day. i woke up with anxiety and couldnt wait for school to be over. skipping the school part, i lugged a 10 kg hard cover guitar case all around school on friday. then after school i took my friends bus down to TAS. the stage was set up and err thang. i wouldnt say it was the nicest stage ever. but it was still pretty nice. i still think the NICEST stage i ever played on was my first gig. may 19th. WOOOH. magical memories. ok anyways, first up was sahil/to neraew solo set. he played 1 song from his cd called a bullet to my heart. its nice ah. i like that song. in my opinion, i dont think he should have started the show as everyone was still moving around and no one really payed attention to him. anwyays, the second song he played was a new song he wrote recently. its called you probably dont know this is for you. you guys can check it out on his myspace. www.myspace.com/toneraew. its damn nice ah. i like the chorus especially. haha. ok anyways, sadly, halfway through his song, the mic for some reason died. cheeee bye. non of us were very happy, but anyways, it got fixed almost immediately and he started the song again. damn nice. k he got off the stage and the teacher band headed up. i didnt watch them play as me and sahil had to practice our duo set. we were supposed to go to the practice rooms but sahil was afraid there wasnt enough time. so we went to the courtyards and practiced. a few people watched us practice. i'd say when we were practicing, it was WAY better than when we performed. hahaha. ok anyways, after going through our 4 song set, we went back to the stage area and the teacher band wasnt done yet. they finished up their song and we got on stage. WOOOOH. the feeling of having about 100 people around you, above you, beside you. fuck. k then anwyays, first song we played was the quiet things that no one ever knows by brand new. we played this almost flawlessly. it was nice lah. then next was sahil's song called answer the question. he recorded us playing it. www.purevolume.com/toneraew. its on there as "Answer The Question LIVE". ok anyways, after playing finish answer the question, i realized that my amp was half dead. so i knocked it and there was sound. fuck. so i played 2 sogns with barely any sound coming out of my amp. and my guitar part was vital for answer the question. sian lah. ok anyways, after that we played mah song. your first impressions. we played it almost flawlessly. fucking ncie. woooh. hahaha. ok then after taht we ended off with your call by secondhand serenade. sahil made a harmonizing guitar part. its DAAAAMN nice. we're planning to record it one day. hopefuly. anwyays, in that song, we played well with a few minor screw ups. hahaha. ok then anwyays after taht i left the stage then sahil played one song with a guy that graduated last year. the guy can sing DAMN well. hahaha. ok anyways, after that it was MY SET. shiii. i was nervous as i stepped up onto stage. i decided to be stubborn and use the horrible amp which was my first mistake and my second mistake was i decided to stand up and play. so i started out with my summer scrapbook. when i started singing, i realized the mic wasnt on. hahahaha. so i turned it on and continued. i couldnt concentrate AT ALL. i was daaaamn bloody nervous. i fucked up on mah guitar like HELL. i wasnt satisfied. the second song i played was my new song called Initiating A Conversation. i played like SHIT again. the amp was damn bloody loud and overpowered mah singing. like shit. and the tone was damn horrible also. sian. ok anyways, after my badly played set, i got off stage slightly embarrased. sian. then anyways, after that i just went to sit down with mah friends. i forgot who else played lah. i couldnt be bothered. oh somethign i forgot to mention at the start. i was expecting my bra to watch as i told him to. but then i saw my mother. aaaaaaah. i told her NOT to go but she went anyways. sian. hahaha. ok anywyas, after that a few of us went to eat. plee, brian, warren and me. jeremy was going also but he was being a whiny shit so he didnt go with us to KFC. ate some shit then after taht me and brian went back to school to find some homies. we just slacked at the lobby playing guitar for awhile. hahaha. then after that there was NO WHERE to go. so we went to starbucks and sat and drank some shit, calling everyone we knew to ask if they can come out and hang out or something. ok anyways, at starbucks, we had a conversation that will change my life. hahah. not realy change my life lah. but whatever. my magic works. hahaa. k anywyas, after that we both got damn bloody bored so we decided to head home. didnt do much when i got home. i will skip on to the next day. hahaha. k

SATURDAY
saturday is usually shopping/hang out day with friends. so anyways, me and warren were scheduled to meet up at 12. that fucker went to jeremy's house to sleep over the night before and when i called him at 12 to tell him i was already at school, he told me that he will be there soon. so i just sat around school, i got daaaamn bored and just went to buy some snacks from the nearby shop and jsut started pigging out at the benches while waiting for the chee bye. he finally called me and said he was almost there. i looked at my cell's clock. 2 O CLOCK. I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR 2 FULL HOURS! nigga. ok anyways after that we went to kfc to do the standard bucket of buffalo wings eat out. hahaha. we sat upstairs and talked while eating. then anwyays, we were playing around with the salt and pepper packets when warren came up with the most idiotic idea ever. hahaha. he dared me to sniff some of the salt and pepper through a straw into my nose. i told him that i'd only do it if he did it first. he didnt hesitate at all. hahaha. he just sniffed it in. right away he started screaming. his face turned red and he started tearing. FUCKING FUNNY. i couldnt stop laughing. hahaha. he went to the sink and washed his nose out. when he got back, he said i had to do it. i was damn scared at first after seeing what happened to him. but i finally did it anyways. i swear that was the WORST pain i've ever felt in my life. or maybe not. but still, it was DAAAAMN bloody pain. i started tearing. i could feel the salt and pepper inside my nose. and it was like disolving while burning my nose. hahaha. i washed my nose a few thousand times but still couldnt get it out. it was still burning. haha. then anwyays after taht we decided to leave. we decided to buy those things that you put into your nose and smells like mint shit and clears nose blocks those kind of things. hahaha. then we sniffed it like hell to try to clear the pain. after awhile, the pain went away. hahaha. ok anwyays, after that we decided to watch a movie. we saw quite alot of friends at the theater. we decided to watch the same movie. you me and dupree. the movie started like 15 minutes after we bought the tickets. i got a free movie ticket as i stole one coupon from my friend last time. hahaha. ok we went into the movie place. this movie basically is horrible. i slept off halfway. any movie that makes me dose off halfway is not good. except love actually that was cos we watched a 3 o clock movie and i was be tired as hell. ok anywyas, the movie is about this 2 friends. one of them got married and the other one lost their job and had to live in the other friends house. they suffer all this shit, the guy loses his mind. he and his wife have problems, in the end everything is solved. its quite a pointless movie lah. hahaha. ok anyways, after that, warren's mom called and started bitching at him. SIAN know. i was going to be left alone again. so i called EVERYONE before warren left. no one was around. so i just walked around, talking to jeremy ho on the phone for quite awhile. then i received a call from brian. i called him earlier. he said he was eating dinner with his brother as his brother was leaving for college soon. so anwyays, his brother asked if i wanted to go. having nothing to do, i just went. i recall last year his brother and ALL his friends wanted to kcik my ass for some unknown reason. brian said that over the summer, he convinced his brother that i was a cool guy. hahaha. ok anyways, we ate at the standard chillis. the food was nice lah. i got a chicken crispers and there was a plate of some classy ass nachos to share amongst the 3 of us. the nachos were damn nice. hahaha. ok anyways, after that when we were all done eating, i took out my money ready to give it to my friends brother that paid with credit cared but he said its alright. so i got 25 bucks worth of free dinner. WOOOOOH. hahahahaha. ok anwyays, after that i couldnt find anyone else to hang out with, so i headed home. sian lah. got home and didnt do much. ok im done with mah 2 day cover.

wooooh. ok anywyas, i have 2 gigs lined up. 2 know fuck. hahaha. one is for next week friday where its gonna be a fund raiser to raise money for the rockers union club shit. then the next one is in a months time where we will be playing to a crowd of about 500 people. the TAS food fair. hahah ok anyways, now i is off. im hoping i will blog tomorrow. k peace.

hello mah blog. i kept my promise and im blogging aight. so SHUT UP DONT COMPLAIN. k i will blog about the past few days.

FRIDAY
k skip school part. after school, i was scheduled to have a gig remember? ya so my driver person came to my school with my guitar and we headed down to my old school. got up to the practice rooms and i received the bad news. that we're not playing on friday that night but on the next night which was saturday. so anyways, we just got to work. one by one, they all came. last to come was our vocalist. hahaha. his name is andrew. his entry into the room was classic. he stepped into the room, smiling like a fool, his eyes were red and watery. there were like 12 signs that he was definitely high. hahhaa. so we asked him and he admitted that in fact, he was high. hahaha. idiot. so anyways, we just practiced practiced practiced, then everyone had to go. so the remaining few of us just brought the amps and shit down to the PE room as we were to keep our stuff there until the next day. after taht just slacked around. found a few friends then headed to startbucks with greese monkey to just sit and chat and stuff. drank some coffee, ate some food. then warren called. he said he just got out of volleyball. asked where we were and stuff. so we walked back to school and met him. we sat around for quite awhile, more people coming in one by one. we finally gained a pack of 8 people and headed down to this resturaunt as we were eating there that night, in rememberence of steve irwin. when we got there, we saw 2 idiots there. hahah. jeremy ho liked one of them. he was actually watching a movie with them that night. but he didnt dare go himself so he followed us up to the resturaunt. we waited outside for awhile for a seat then jeremy suddenly disappeared. like 2 minutes later, he called and asked me to go downstairs and find him. when i went down, the 2 idiots said he went to look for me. siaaaan. so i called him and eventually we met and he told me the plan. i wanted to go as i felt bad for him as he's a little pussy. hahaha. but i promised brian that i'd have dinner with him. so i headed up to the restaurant, dissapointing jeremy. he came back and greese monkey agreed to go with him as greese monkey was addicted to younger girls. so we ordered our shit, halfway through, greese monkey and jeremy came back. they said their movie started later. so they were gonna eat with us first. we had a toast to steve irwin. i ordered some mushroom swiss shit. it was quite nice ah. but not as nice as i expected. it was daaaamn filling. k then after that, we just talked like hell, drank alot of fluids then the rest were going to brian's house while greese moneky and jeremy were gonna watch the movie. i had the choice where i wanted to go. after awhile, i decided that it would be more beneficial if i followed jeremy and greese monkey to the movies. bought my tickets and as usual, we didnt sit where we were supposed to. we were watching john tucker must die. ok anyways, this was the stupid part. jeremy liked one of the 2 girls that followed us right. and i already mentioned that he's really a pussy when it comes to girls. so he was scared to sit beside the girl he liked. only after greese monkey and i persuaded him to go and sit beside her. i was gonna sit alone in the other corner but he forced me to follow him and sit beside me while he sat in between me and then girl he liked. gh3y. ok about the movie. its about thsi guy that was cheating on 3 girls at the same time. then the 3 of them found out through one girl. so the 4 of them teamed up to try to get him back. doing quite a few retarded things to make him look like a fool but he totally reversed them and made it look cool. so they finally made a plan and got him back. it was quite nice lah. a typical chick flick. haha. ok anyways, throughout the WHOLE movie jeremy and the girl he like (nicole) barely talked AT ALL. and i recall jeremy telling me that one night on msn they talked all the way until 3 am. WHATS THIS PUSSYNESS. ok anyways, fast forward, we just hung out there for awhile, then after awhile, greese monkey left. then the girls left. then we decided to split and i went home. k this was the part where my night totally decided to die out. i got into the taxi. i told the guy the place i was headed. he went the total opposite direction. FUCKING IDIOT. i asked him if he knew where he was going. he said no. i raised my voice at him and told him to stop the car. so i got off at the side and flagged for the next taxi. hopped in and told the guy where i wanted to go. he drove in the wrong direction AS WELL. he asked me if i was going up a mountain. i said yes. he then told me that he didnt wanna drive up the mountain at night. FUCKING PUSSY I DONT UNDERSTAND. bitch. i raised my voice again and got into another taxi. this taxi driver finally knew what he was doing and got me back to my house. but since i was far into the opposite direction, the taxi fare was more than usual. bitch. k got home did my stuff slept. k next day.

SATURDAY/GIG DAY
i woke up, excited as it was finally my second gig in my life. brushed my teeth, did my shit then i headed down to my old school. early as hell. the gig was scheduled at 6 but i went to school at 10.30. the plan was to go shopping with my friend but we didnt feel like it so we just slacked. there was the volleyball tournaments there. that was why we were playing. haha. we watched and bought alot of junk shit from the small store located outside the gym for cancer research. hahaha. we just slacked out, ate, then after that we decided to go to the back and slack. played some guitar, showed my friends the new song i was working on that i finished just today. we all felt hungry so we left for subbers close by school. ate, talked then we headed back to school, asking as many people as possible to go and watch us. on the way back to school, warren decided to be an idiot and not watch our gig and leave. fucker. we got a little pissed off. so it was left with only me and brian. we went to his house to get ready for the gig. slacked around, played some guitar then headed back down to school. we were excited as HELL. we couldnt wait to play and unleash our long practices. ok then anyways, we met the other guitarist there, we walked around, checked out our set up. the stage was FUCKING small. it was outside the snack bar area. that time when i had my gig, our stage was way bigger and nicer. and we played indoors. so anwyasy, we brought the drumsets, amps down and started setting up. the other band members started to come after awhile. once we were all there, we started doing some final practices. a few people were there to watch us practice. we were all set up and it was already 6.30 but NO ONE was there. so we decided to just eat abit, slack around and stuff. then people started coming out. we thought that everyone was really coming out. there was only like 30 people really. but we started our set anyways. anyways, halfway through the set, we realized that this was SHIT and there was NO ONE watching. so we just decided to stop playing. i took the opportunity and asked if i could just fuck around solo style since there was barely anyone. i was scared so i asked the other guitarist to play one of his songs first. hahaha. he had to show me the ways. so he played one. then i sat down. i got ready and WOOH. everything went swiftly. i played your first impression, my summer scrapbook, reminding you of me and mixed the end of it with my new song i havent thought of a name for it yet. hahaha. then after that other people just came up and played their shit. ok anyways, after awhile, the REAL amount of people started pouring out. most of the bastards sat inside the cafeteria though. so it was like not much of a difference when we started playing before. but anyways, we played like 2 songs THATS when ALOT of people started coming. most of them sat inside but still, where we were playing it was kinda filled. we were already on like our third song when everyone was there, so we decided to play 3 more songs and finish the show. third last song was cute without the E(cut from the team) by taking back sunday. i started off the song. and then i later progressed to some light movements while playing. through the outro of the song, i was going NUTS. headbanging like a fool. it was MEGA crazy. i had LOADS of fun. i had alot of comments about my energy. hahaha. the rest of the songs my neck hurt from headbanging too crazily so i didnt jump around much. hahaa. ok anyways, we ended the show. we carried all the equipment back up to the room and then me and brian went to starbucks to slack. met up with greese monkey there. drank, talked about our performance and reflected. overall, SUCCESSFUL. so shiok ah. hahaha. ok then after taht i went home and it was rainging like a raging bitch. anyways, sunday i woke up and my WHOLE neck was sore like HELL. even now it still hurts when i move to fast. k fast forward.

eh no more fast forward. hahaha. anyways, today in school there was a band playing during lunch. they were relatively alright. their vocalist was mumbling half the time. but they were alright. their name suck like hell though. "i love my mum". ok anyways, from like saturday's performance, i was told that i will be constantly gigging with rocker's union. this friday i got a BIG gig lined up. 3.30 at the lobby of school. there will be ALOT of people. so it'll be cool. i cant wait. the line up is me and sahil/to neraew guy start of the show. we play 2 of his songs and 2 of my songs together. then after that either him or i go first then after that either him or i go whichever didnt go. play 2 songs each. then after that other people play their 2 songs. so it'll be cool ah. i cant wait. im gonna play my new song. i finished it today. damn shiok. k here it is then im off.

hellooooooo my blog. sorry lah. i havent blogged in quite awhile. i have to make a LOOOOOOOOONG blog post but unfortunately, i am not in a good position now. i will save my long ass blog post about friday and yesterday for tomorrow as i dont have the time now. tomorrow got school. ok i woke up late for the first time ever. usually im way eariler than my bra. oh ya one thing i forgot to tell ya'll in my last post. my mom said i could have the room downstairs permenantly. since when we were moving in, i already said i wanted this room. she said i could have it permenantly. so i said i wanted 2 rooms and the room downstairs will be my recording studio sort of chill out area and my other room will be well, just a room. so anyways, got up, showered in my OWN toilet. WOOOH. then went off to school. one of the first few times im relatively early for my form class. did the attendence and everything, then it was time for english.

english we first practiced note taking. the teacher read a summary of the author, HG Wells and we were supposed to take notes on him. then the teacher quizzed us to see who got the most important facts written down. thena fter that we read a short story called the read room by HG Wells. it inspired me abit. ok fast forward abit, oh as usual, the idiot english teacher couldnt get my name right.

next was maths. we had to go to the phase 1 building for maths as always. which is a pain in the shins. literally cos its quite far away. maths as usual was boring as a bitch. i dont wanna go into details about it. its like SHIT. i hate maths to the max. k fast forward

science. AAAAH. finally something fun. during science, i made my friend write about "For This Cycle" over and over so that it filled the whole paper. hahaha. i am gonna scan it and put it on my new myspace and purevolume for my solo project. i used to be "chariot of the golden sun". but im sick of that name. so from now on, my solo side is "For This Cycle". ok back to science. we just learnt about the periodic table of elements, and atoms. then at the end the teacher did some demonstrations. fucking cool. he just put like different elements into water. one element i forgot what would actually like fizzle for abit then it will like explode into flames. literally. it was damn cool lah. ok fast forward.

time for lunch. i sat at the couches with my friends. we stole one of his friends guitar and i just started playing shit. haha. some no penguins acoustic style. good stress reliever. i wish i were in a school where i actually learnt something i am interested in. kai you lucky bastard. get to go to lasalle. neh mind. 2 more years and lasalle, here i come. ok fast forward

after lunch it was time for music. music is qutie fun actually. we had to do some compositions for homework. everyone elses was complicated as shit. well mine? simple and perfect. the teacher even said that i was one of the few that had no assessment mistakes. cos we were supposed to follow the 12 bar blues pattern and everyone else made some complicated shit. but i did it exactly according to the shit. so i got full on assessment. word word. k fast forward.

after music, i took the bus home. slacked online, no one online. so just slacked more. ate, watched tv, ate, watched tv. basically thats what i did all the way until now lah. no need to say. word word.

ok anyways, im gonna give this paragraph im about to write to Steve "The Crocodile Hunter" Irwin. he died like this morning i think. from a sting ray's tail. stabbed him right in the heart. i hate sting rays. one more reason to eat more sting rays. fuckers. anyways steve irwin was my hero last time when i was a kid. i remember watching his show every evening before helping my mother cook dinner. he's a funny guy lah. sad to have someone so cheerful and jovial be taken away from the earth. he died a quick death. he probably couldnt even feel it as the sting ray stabbed him right in his heart so he would have died instantly. RIP Steve Irwin. anyways, me and my friends are having dinner this friday in rememberence of him. aight.

speaking of friday, theres this club in my old school called "the rockers union". through my friend, they found me and asked me to play with them this friday. they have gigs in school like everyone 2 weeks. so its quite cool. they are playing 6 songs i think. but i will only be playing 3 sogns with them. better than nothing. abit excited. i already learnt the songs i was supposed to play. hmm. more expirience, more exposure. better sex. hahahaha. aight aight. i is off now. peace niggas.
